A COLLECTION OF HOME RECORDINGS (2020 - PRESENT)
Yes, that’s right. I was once a singer/songwriter.

This project, titled Dreaming in Blue, is a collection of songs that were written, performed, & recorded by me during the 2020 & 2021 COVID-19 lockdowns. My hope is that I continue adding to this collection into the future.

THE BACKGROUND
I was once a touring singer/songwriter … but I kind of gave it up over a decade ago. Move forward to 2020, and as a result of the lockdowns due to COVID-19 I found myself with the time and space to re-visit writing and recording music. So, I set up a make-shift home studio.

What has resulted is music that has a similar ‘feel’ to my photography meaning that it emanates the core notions of zen philosophies, such as simplicity, empathy, mindfulness and balance. It’s music to chill to, it’s music you can escape into, it’s music that makes you feel love. And, as someone put it to me, it’s music you can make love to.

With obvious influences from the late 80’s into the early 2000’s, I find that the songs possess a meditative quality that take you on a little journey. But don’t just take my word for it ….. have a listen for yourself.
